Surrender and Trust

Proverbs 16:3 encourages us with a powerful promise: “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” This verse reminds us that true success doesn’t come solely from our efforts or plans but from a life surrendered to God’s will.

To commit means to dedicate something entirely to God, acknowledging that He is Lord over every area of our lives. When we place our dreams, projects, and concerns in His hands, we demonstrate trust in His wisdom and sovereignty.

This doesn’t mean we will never face challenges or changes in our plans. On the contrary, surrendering everything to the Lord gives us peace, knowing that even in difficulties, He is working for our good. His vision is greater, and His purpose is perfect.

Today, reflect on what you have yet to surrender to the Lord. It could be a project, a difficult decision, or even daily concerns. Commit it all to Him in prayer, trusting that as you align your steps with His will, He will pave the way and lead you to the kind of success that truly matters.

Prayer: Lord, I surrender to You all that I am and all that I do. Guide me according to Your will. Amen.
